Victor Filamor has 25 years experience in general management, marketing, sales and operations with Consumer and Industrial Fortune 500 companies and multinationals. His regional and country roles have spanned across Asia Pacific, and were based in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Victor held company leadership roles in Indonesia and the Philippines with Polaroid, The Coca-Cola Company, and Sterling Tobacco (a subsidiary of PT Sampoerna). He set up and recruited for new region offices of Polaroid in Indonesia and Coca-Cola in Southern Philippines.

Prior to joining AETG, Victor was Executive Vice President with DHR International, a Top 5 U.S. executive search firm, at its Asia Pacific Headquarters in Hong Kong. He was previously Asia Practice Group Leader for the Consumer and Healthcare Sectors with SpenglerFox, a European international executive search firm. Victor’s experience in search covers all levels of management including Board Level, Regional Heads, Country Heads, as well as functional areas reporting to these roles in Greater China, Southeast Asia and Japan.

He started his career as a Research Chemist at the Corporate R&D Center of San Miguel, Southeast Asia’s largest publicly listed food, beverage and packaging company. He moved to San Miguel’s Dairy Division to gain manufacturing experience as Quality Control Supervisor and as Production Supervisor. He then grew his career in Hong Kong and Malaysia in Asia Pacific Regional Marketing roles with Diversey (one of the largest specialty cleaning chemical companies in the world), Loctite (a Fortune 500 specialty adhesives company) and Polaroid.

Victor graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines with a B. Sc. Chemistry degree, then topped the National Chemistry Licensure Board Examinations. He has a MBA (Marketing) degree from the Greenwich University, Hawaii. He speaks English, Tagalog, Bahasa and is currently learning Mandarin.
